Yard Sale Chair Makeover BEFORE and AFTER

Tell everyone you loved this post! :)

Check out this awesome chair that I found at a yard sale!

It had been sitting in my garage for quite awhile (like most projects! LOL)

But while hubby and my oldest son were out of the country, I had the time and motivation to get these things done (and to surprise them when they get back).

I’m super excited about this chair!

I even found *the* perfect fabric for it, for $12.99/yd at the fabric store! I have come to realize that the soft, pretty fabrics and colors and paint colors are what makes me happy. I want to get away from dark colors, like the browns and reds and yellows.

Anyhow, the chair was only $25.
The only thing I can show you is the before and after. Sorry about that!
Anyhow, here’s what it looked like.

When I was done with it, it looked really great!

AFTER

It only took me about 2 hours. And the fabric was $25.

$50 for a nice chair–not bad!

Here’s how the chair looked like after my family room makeover.

  1. I have recovered the seat on a chair but not the back. Could you tell me if it had to be nailed in after it was covered?
    Thanks Lou
