Sometimes I wonder where this passion of mine for junk came from.
My mom claims it came from her and our many thrift trips when I was a kid. My older sister would hide in the car, embarrassed to be seen. But me–I loved going into the thrift store!
When I see a pile of rubbish, this girl’s gotta do a quick retina scan on a quick drive-by to make sure some jewel isn’t sitting there waiting to be discovered!
Or when I drive within 1 block of the thrift store, I’VE.JUST.GOT.TO.STOP.
“Real quick. I promise….I’ll only be 5 minutes…”
I Love Junk More Than Fred Sanford!
So to commemorate my love of THRIFT and junk, I decided to create these awesome tees!
It’s been something I’ve been wanting to do, but why the heck did I wait so long?!
These shirts are awesome!
My family and I grilled out (because my patio got a makeover and I’m no longer embarrassed to have people over. Small wins!). And I decided to test out my new shirt on my family to see what they thought of it. There’s no better way to get authentic feedback than from the people that love you, right?
My mom came…my niece (the pretty girl in pink!), my nephew in orange, and my mom in white.
It felt great to know that everyone thought it was pretty cool (even hubby, in the black, who is very hard to please.)!
And at some point, I must have thought I was “America’s Next Middle-Aged Mom”….because I started posing! LOL
I also ordered a slate gray color because I couldn’t decide to get just one! I’m also ordering a kelly green one! 🙂
I looove t-shirts! I’ve found that since I started working from home, they’re my go-to shirt to wear all day. May as well look cute and make a statement, too, right??
This is the one I have ordered next! Can’t wait to get it!
Sizes Up to 4X
Don’t you hate clothes that are made for skinny people? I’m surely not Slim Shady anymore like I used to be, but I don’t have to be.
The good thing is that you don’t have to be Skinnie Minnie to order my tees. Win!
Click here to order one (U.S. only) and let people know that you’re not afraid to admit that you love junk, too! 🙂
Here are just a few of my favorite colors!
My kids didn’t know who Fred Sanford was, so I had to pull out the old YouTube and show him. Kids of today don’t know good comedy, do they?
And he looks totally bored in this picture, but I assure you, he had an awesome time with his family! 🙂
So what do you think?? I’m super excited about this line of shirts! Thanks for being a part of this community to make it happen! And be proud of your love of junk (no matter how much your spouse complains)! 😉
