Story of Our House

When you bring your kids home from the hospital, it’s a magical moment that you always remember. Not just how you brought them home (doesn’t the car seat swallow them up?!), but to where you brought them:

HOME.

Those sort of memories create emotional attachments to places we live. And that is one of the reasons it was so hard to say goodbye to our sweet little condo…..

Our home, bought winter of 2010.

Our front entry.

Our first home–a beautiful 2 bedroom condo bought in 2002.

So there you have it. That’s what our house looked like upon move-in back in December 2010. Overall, it wasn’t bad. They had a lot of nice antique furniture pieces, and they made it feel a bit homey, whereas we still have tons of empty and undecided spaces. We’re getting there, though….One room and project at a time!

Stay tuned for more updates to this page, as we link back and compare the “THEN” to the “NOW!”
