Jodi started off the 30-Day June Room Challenge working on her living room, but when her basement flooded, she knew she needed to change focus. She says it was a good thing because her basement was the biggest task she had in her house. It needed the most work, after just moving in 2 months ago!
What was the biggest “challenge” of this challenge? What stumped you? Also, what was the “easiest” part?
“Time was the hardest, there never is enough. With working full time, being a mom, running a business, it takes a tole. But it reminded me that I need time for me and to make my house a retreat I can go home to every day. I also had too many ideas and not enough time!! The easiest thing was signing up and taking pictures, lol.”~Jodi
What piece of advice would you give to someone wanting to tackle a room or space?
“Be prepared to spend more time, money, and effort than you planned. Cut yourself a break and realize you aren’t super women and it’s ok not to be perfect. Also, remember that there are certain things you should leave to the professionals, like electrical work!!”~Jodi
