When Tracy joined my 30-Day August Upgrade Challenge, she wanted to work on this downstairs kitchen.
I couldn’t wait to see how she turned it around! But plans changed, as they always do, and she had to work on this bedroom. I don’t have before pics of it, but it’s so nice, I don’t NEED before pics! 🙂 It’s so lovely that you won’t care how it looked before she started. Only that it’s such a relaxing “shabby chic” look!
In Tracy’s Own Words
“I changed mid month. ADD kicked in and off I went! The whole room has been redone. Carpet is going to be replaced with hardwood…just didn’t have time it install. It’s in the garage waiting!!! I changed rooms because my daughter moved out and it really needed to be done. I spent a total of about 500.00. I got the chest of drawers at auction for $100.00. The wicker chair was $75.00. Some pieces I already had and mixed them with the new. Biggest challenge was keeping myself from painting over the white. It was over whelming at first. Of course it was better than baby poop brown. Finishing touches were the easiest.”~Tracy
This bedroom looks soooo light and airy….I could imagine waking in up in it on a sunny September Sunday…..without kids :). Maybe at 10 a.m. To breakfast and bed. Ahhhh…….. Well done, Tracy!!!
