Tangerine and pink accents!
In Her Own Words
“My laundry room had become a dumping ground for everything that had no place to go. First step was a super cleaning and 2 coats of white paint. My washer and dryer were right next to one another so I moved the dryer down the wall and built a table to fit between. I edged that with a yardstick for fun. My hamper basket fits beneath.
I also sprayed a cute thrifted wall hook white. It was originally red and had cute glass doorknobs as hangers. I found two coral and white laundry bags and hung them from the knobs so everyone knows where to put dirty laundry. A black and white checked vinyl floor gave a huge happy pop to the room. Some vintage hangers and fun framed quotes in my accent colors of hot pink and coral and some vintage items I had around the house accessorize the tops of the cabinets.
I also replaced the laundry sink but kept the original faucet. The door to the garage is now a chalkboard. This is a fun space to do laundry now. Happy colors and black and white accents may be my go to color scheme forever. The only new items in the room are the flooring and the washtub, plus some wood for the table. I came in at about $250 total. Love my fresh laundry room!”~Pam
I used to be opposed to white rooms. I thought they were boring. But not anymore. And when I see pretty rooms like this, it only solidifies the reason I love white rooms–they’re fresh, clean, and make you feel less stressed! 🙂 Nice job again, Pam!!!
