Wouldn’t you love to see a “before” AND “after” of my crafting room?? So would I……but things have been slow-moving since I started maternity leave exactly 15 days ago. LOL. The baby sleeps so much, but even so, I find myself sitting around holding him while he sleeps, and watching DVR’ed episodes of SHO’s “Dexter,” and spending too much time on Facebook and Pinterest. 🙂 What a way to spend maternity leave, huh?
My goal for maternity leave (aside from bonding with my third-born son) has been to get projects done around the house. Being a full-time mom and employee, I really don’t get much time to get done all the projects that I have on my to-do list. So, having 12 weeks to get it all done was like heaven to me 🙂
(It’s going way too fast, though…..)
Anyhow, here is the BEFORE pic of my soon-to-be crafting room. Currently hubby uses it as his office (he works from home), but the only space he needs is that 3′ x 3′ space he parks himself at daily. The rest of the room really needs to be put to good use. What better way than a crafting room for me!
Here is what I am working on sorting through. What a MESS!!!!
We’ve lived in this house for exactly one year, and we still don’t even have a curtain rod or curtains at the window. Isn’t that pathetic?? LOL Thankfully our neighbor’s house is blocked by trees, so it’s somewhat private!
Anyhow, before I can get started on my crafting room, I must finish the half bath. I would love to post more about it, but it’s already 10:30 p.m. and newest addition is going to start fussing soon; he needs to go to bed!
More details and pics to follow! 🙂
